- Arrive and reconnect with nature, stretch the legs on arrival into Margaret River on the Rotary South Bank River Trail. It’s an easy 2.4km loop walk along the north and south shores of the beautiful Margaret River. Then head into town and grab whatver you need for your first nights stay.
- We love Burnside Organic Farm or Tanah Marah for accommodation. Both a little bit further out of town and grounding in their own right. Check in and check out your surroundings. Meet the owners, meet the animals, meet nature…then meet yourself, the present version that’s not in a rush.
- On Saturday mornings, go where the locals go and pick up some local produce at the Margaret River Farmers Market. There’s no reselling allowed so you can rest assured it really is coming from paddock to your plate. It’s the most authentic farmers market in the state. Find seasonal fresh produce, free range eggs, organic meet and artisian goods. A must-do if you’re in town on the weekend.
- Leave the car in town and hire a bike with Life Cycle Bikes and explore endless MTB trails or vineyards in the area. They have half, full, overnight or multi-day hire options and can show you were to go on an adventure.
