Profile
A skilled team of remedial therapists in East Fremantle’s Richmond Quarter — where every treatment is built around you, not a menu.
Remedial, sports and pregnancy massage clinic in East Fremantle. Infrared sauna, health fund rebates on the spot. Book at nuancemassage.com.au.
Nuance Massage Therapy is one of Perth’s most considered remedial massage clinics — a small, highly skilled team in East Fremantle’s Richmond Quarter, where every treatment is tailored to the person on the table rather than a one-size script. Founded as Precise Massage in 2021 and rebranded in 2024, the clinic has grown steadily without ever losing the thing that made it worth recommending: therapists who genuinely pay attention.
The clinic occupies a purpose-built space on Silas Street in East Fremantle’s Richmond Quarter, quiet, private treatment rooms a few minutes from the Swan River. Each room is free from external interruption.
The core offering is remedial and sports massage, delivered by a team of experienced therapists with distinct specialisations. Jess Maloney brings over a decade of experience across remedial, pregnancy, lymphatic drainage and post-surgical recovery. Jordyn Farrelly is the clinic’s functional cupping specialist and second-in-charge. Scott Hardie integrates reflexology and the Emmett technique alongside remedial work. Wendy Menzie leads in hot stone and prenatal care. Kristie Campbell, trained across rehabilitation clinics and five-star spas in Canada, covers sports, rehabilitative and relaxation treatments. Most therapists hold health fund provider status — Medibank Private, BUPA, HBF, HCF, NIB and others — and the clinic processes claims on the spot.
Nuance is best experienced as a regular visit rather than a one-off. Whether you’re managing a chronic issue, recovering from surgery, or carrying the kind of tension that accumulates across a working week, results compound over time. Two visits in close succession — one to address the acute problem, one to consolidate the work — typically achieves more than a single long session. For those managing ongoing conditions, therapists actively adjust technique session to session based on what they find.
OTHER OFFERINGS
Beyond massage, the clinic offers a well-chosen range of supporting therapies: cupping, dry needling, reiki, reflexology, manual lymphatic drainage, and C-section and abdominal scar release (from six weeks post-op). An infrared sauna is available to book as a standalone session, using infrared light to penetrate deeper than conventional heat — supporting circulation, muscle recovery and stress relief. A curated selection of wellness products is available in-clinic to support self-care between treatments.
Nuance is not a chain, not a franchise, and not chasing volume. It’s a focused clinic doing honest, skilled work — and that shows in the consistency of its reviews and the loyalty of its return clients.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT
What stands out about Nuance isn’t the treatment menu — though it’s one of the most thorough I’ve seen at a clinic this size. It’s the fact that the team actually listens. Every therapist here has a specific area of expertise, and they use it. You’re not going to get a generic 60-minute rub; you’re going to get someone who notices the thing you forgot to mention and addresses it anyway.
The Richmond Quarter space is worth noting too. The rooms are genuinely quiet, the environment is professional without being clinical, and the ability to claim on the spot with most major health funds removes one of the usual friction points. If you’ve been putting off booking because it feels like effort, it isn’t.
This one is for the person who’s tried remedial massage once, found it average, and hasn’t gone back. Nuance is what it’s supposed to feel like. Especially for anyone managing something specific — post-op recovery, chronic back pain, a sports injury, or pregnancy — the specialist depth here is hard to find in one place.
