You need to visit Knead Bread & Coffee. Family owned and operated bakery located in the heart of Scarborough. All their bread and pastries are sourdough and made over a two-three day feremntation process using the best quality Australian grown, organic flour from Wholegrain Milling. Take a seat to eat and/or take home a loaf. The toughtest decision of the day is which sourdough loaf to buy.
Tip: The Everything Bagel and a coffe, an after yoga treat not to be missed.

Answer the call of the ocean. The invitation to beathe deeply, connect with nature and get salty. In our minds, there’s nothing better than hearing the sounds of the sea. Spend some time on the sand, in the water and soacking up the surrounds of Scarborough on a 4-day beachside wellness escape.
- We start on a Thursday because there is nothing better than a visit to the markets to connect with a destination. And on a Thursday night, Scarborough plays host to Perth’s favourite beachside market, Sunset Markets. Open every Thursday November through April, it’ all about mouth-watering food and ice-cold bevvies, live music, artisan stalls and dancing on the beach. Start your weekend right…on a Thursday, and at the beachside markets.
- If you’re staying overnight and its the beach views you want, nothing beats the sunset on the balcony of the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough or for beachfront apartments, you should look no further than Seashells Scarborough.
- Start the morning surfing, Scarborough Beach Surf School has 7.15 or 9.45am lessons available. Small group lessons that are long enough to have an impact on your ability and your mood for the day.
- Head for a Acai Bowl at C-Bree Kiosk, sit on the grass and soak up the sun (and rediculously good coffee)
- Head to The Melt Haus for an infrared sauna and ice-bath. The combination of a sauna and an ice bath, also known as contrast therapy, can have many benefits, including improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and faster recovery. Enjoy the increased energy levels.
- Grab a book and find the perfect spot to relax along the coast, the afternoon is yours to explore.
- If you’re up for a little more movement after all that, hit The Hundred for their Fusion Strength Pilates class, which gives you the best of both pilates worlds incorporating classic mat pilates and reformer movements. Depending on the season, this class gives you a front row seat to the sunset over the Indian Ocean
- Take a morning dip in the Indian Ocean. Studies have highlighted that ocean dips support the production of beta-endorphins, that elusive, 100% natural “feel-good” high we all crave.
- At 9am, head to The Yoga Garage for the Hot Vinyasa Flow. A 60 minute class with good movement, good music and good vibes.
- Head to Knead for a well-deserved coffee and a sourdough breakfast.
- Head out along the caostline on the Scarborough-Trigg Heritage Walk Trail, it’s made up of three loops – Scarborough Coastal Loop, Trigg Coastal Loop and Trigg Bushland Reserve Loop, totalling about 7.3km. The trail can be accessed north of Scarborough Beach.
- For Saturday night dinner vibes, we recommend SKOL. They build their menu around sustainabilitu and seasonality, sourcing the highest quality ingredients and highlighting fresh produce from favourite local producers. A local neighbourhood bar and eatery with warm welcomes and laid back vibes. You can thank us later.
- 7am run club with The Early Ones is full of energy, connection and well…running. Start the day right.
- For some post workout recovery, make your way upstairs to Alchemy Saunas for your last sweat and alternate between the sauna and 5 degree ice shower whilst looking out over the Indian Ocean.
- Head up to Drift Kitchen, a friendly neighbourhood cafe, for juices, smoothies and a healthy brunch menu to live for.
